Most of my pieces are either Sterling Silver or Bronze. Bronze components are as follows:  14K Gold filled chain, gold plated jump rings and 14k gold filled clasps. Sterling silver pendants have sterling silver chain, rhodium jump rings and sterling silver clasps. All materials are sourced from small, craft producers. 

To help preserve the longevity of your piece, please use care particularly in wet and humid environments. Avoid direct contact with perfume, lotion and other chemicals as this can cause the metal to tarnish. Remove before physical activity and clean frequently with a soft cloth to retain shine. Metals exposed to oxygen will change color over time – this is normal. Keeping it in a cool, dark place will help prevent this. All this being said, I try to buy quality materials that can be put through the ringer! I’ve kiteboarded, biked, ran, danced, sweated and snuggled in my own Honeyseed. She’s still shining bright beside me. I want you to be comfortable in your piece. If anything happens please contact me  and we can work something out. 

Aside from purchasing from a small, women-owned shop (thank you thank you thank you!), a Honeyseed purchase helps champion the rights of women in so many ways – a portion of net profits are donated to women’s rights initiatives. These rotate on a quarterly basis. Have an organization you know of that champions women’s rights? Let me know via the contact page. I would love to have revolving donations to incredible groups. 

It is my hope that these pieces will be worn proudly by women (and men!) to show they respect women and the fight for equality. 

In addition to donating to women’s initiatives an equal portion of proceeds are donated to Black lives justice organizations – I believe we as a society cannot move forwards without working towards paying the retributions to the Black community. Feminism as a movement and effort needs to recognize and address the issues that face Black and LGBTQ women. These organizations also rotate quarterly. Please reach out if you have one you recommend me looking into! Some necklaces, such as the Marsha, offer an additional donation to a specific organization.

While I am based in the United States, I am beyond stoked to ship a Honeyseed abroad! Shipping is typically around $10 USD. If you are having troubles checking out with your country of choice on the site, please let me know. Please note any duties or taxes upon entrance are additional to shipping cost and will be the responsibility of the purchaser. 

While most of my pieces are made to order, I try to be as fast as possible in getting items out. Once you purchase your piece, expect up to 48 hours of processing time. I typically ship via USPS 3 day shipping. Tracking is included and will be sent to you via email. Order expediting is available for an additional fee. 

Honeyseed is my passion project. I am honored to share them with the world. I do not want financial barriers to ever prevent someone who connects with a piece from having one. Non-custom pieces that have not been worn can be will have a 14 day return policy. Please reach out if you are interested in a return. Custom created pieces cannot be returned. However, I would love for your to be 100% satisfied with your purchase! If you are not completely in love with your Honeyseed, contact me – we can work something out!

I try to be! I keep Mother Earth near and dear to my heart. It is my intention to have honeyseed be as sustainable as possible. My studio energy use is 100% offset by solar, wind and hydroelectric energy. I use Ecoenclose padded mailers, made from 100% recycled content and are fully recyclable/naturally biodegradable. The paper I print on is repurposed and all Honeyseed purchases come in a 100% cotton, reusable baggie!
